Singing and Dancing

Last weekend was busy and fun. On Friday 27th Nov James and I went to the Scandinavian Christmas Market at the Danish Church in Hull. Its a great start to the festive season and very Danish! I bought some food (Danish liverpate, smelly Danish cheese, red cabbage, herring in curry - all yummy!), and we also had some Danish open sandwiches - first time James had tried it (of course he loved it - whats not to love?).

On Saturday 28th James took his 2 boys, plus sons girlfriend, plus me to the exotic location - Bridlington Spa - for a fantastic concert where we saw "Scouting for Girls". It was vibrant and great fun. And hot. Very hot and steamy. Not the show, but the place actually was very hot with lots of condensation, due no doubt to all the young people jumping and dancing about. Ok, we were too! And lots of singing. I think the average audience member age was 12-18, but we didnt feel too out of place! I managed to take a photo with my phone, so obviously you cant really see anything!
As if that wasnt enough excitement, on Sunday James and I spent 4 hours at a salsa workshop on Sunday afternoon. No photos - too busy dancing! Id love to say we are much better dancers now, but I think we just ended up more tired and confused.

Back to work on Monday for a rest, but both James and I ended up with flu this week, and very unwell. I guess thats what too much excitement does to our bodies??!
