Having spent months working on the house in Driffield, finishing off all the jobs that make the house so much better than we I lived there (which has taken much longer than expected), we are (very nearly) ready to let the house to tenants. I am really looking for a family who will enjoy living in the house, and look after it as if it were there own – hopefully long term. I was approached by someone at work whose daughter (grown up with husband and child) is looking for a nice 3-bedroomed house to rent in Driffield. Great – that’s just what I have available! So, we had a deadline to work to (it’s the only way to get finished) and they came to look at the house today. Fingers crossed all went well and they want the house, otherwise, I’m sure we’ll have no problems finding a tenant – I gather that the rental market is fairly buoyant at the moment, and not too many nice properties available.

As soon as the house is rented, James, Liddi and I can not only start looking for a bigger house in Beverley, but we will also have more free time (especially weekends) to catch up on a social life!!
